Installing an APK requires special actions that are different per phone.

 

For example, on Pixel phones you need to do the following:

1- Download ES File Explorer from Google play.

2 - Open the Settings app

Tap on Apps & notifications => Advanced => Special app access => Install unknown apps

Allow Chrome

Allow ES File Explorer

3 - Download the APK using the button above.

4 - Open  ES File Explorer and click on the downloaded file
